Mission Control is missing something

Quite often I find myself swiping up on the trackpad launching Mission Control to look at the time whilst in fullscreen Apps. Even though Mission Control doesn’t reveal any information about the Mac it just feels natural to do so.

I know I could just do the same gesture with just one finger and the normal status bar would appear, however the delay leave me lacking. I would really like there to be simple status indicators like the login screen has on Lion.

App Provisioning

Every time I go through the iTunes connect upload process I get utterly confused by Provisioning Profiles. No matter how much literature I read on the subject I just don’t get it.

Xcode 4 has made the process easier, as well as streamlining the development of Apps. So for that I am greatful.

Girl and a Mac

After a few days with her new MacBook Pro, I asked Sarah what she thought to the whole experience.

Overall she said that OS X was more fluid than Windows, which lead using it to be more convent and user friendly. Things we already know. She liked that being able to do tasks with less input than on a PC. The trackpad is to be thanked for that I believe, and Lion.

Hopefully she won’t regret her purchase. (It’s not looking that way at the moment)

I still need to sell my iMac in order to validate buying my MacBook.

Linguine with Chicken and Sun-Dried Tomatoes

So I made this for two yesterday, and it was amazing. However, the recipe has had a student budget spin to it!

Dressing

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 chopped garlic clove
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup of chopped drain oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1/8 cup basil (preferably fresh)

Meat

  • 2 skinless boneless chicken breast

Pasta

  • Enough pasta for two (I used conchiglie, not linguine)

Salad

  • Rocket
  • Iceberg
  • etc

Instructions

  1. Mix dressing together in order.
  2. Cover both sides of chicken in salt and pepper.
  3. Fry chicken on a medium-high heat, 3 minutes each side.
  4. Boil pasta.
  5. Add dressing, turn down to a medium-low heat.
  6. After another 3 minutes of cooking cut up the chicken to be served with the pasta and salad!
  7. ADD PARMESAN!
  8. YUM.

Even though my radio has a DAB receiver, I choose to use FM for it’s vinyl like sound.
